India vs Australia 1st Test: Team India is preparing for the Perth Test. All the players including Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are sweating in the nets. If reports are to be believed, captain Rohit Sharma may skip the Perth Test. Jasprit Bumrah can captain in his absence. If we talk about India’s playing eleven, Harshit Rana may get a chance to debut. Along with him, the famous Krishna is also a strong contender.
Harshit’s excellent performance has been seen in domestic matches. As a fast bowler, he has taken 43 wickets in 10 first class matches. Harshit’s best performance was taking 7 wickets for 45 runs in an innings. He has taken 22 wickets in List A. Now he can make his test debut for Team India. Head coach Gautam Gambhir has seen Harshit very closely. Therefore they can express confidence in Harshit. He may get a place in the playing 11.
Prasidh Krishna also a contender for Perth Test –
The place of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj in the playing eleven of Team India is almost certain. Along with these, one has to choose Harshita or the famous Krishna. Prasidh’s domestic record has been good. He has played two test matches for India so far. He has taken 2 wickets during this period. Krishna has taken 75 wickets in 21 first class matches.
Team India’s schedule in Australia will be as follows –
The first match of the Test series between India and Australia will be played in Perth from 22 November. After this, the second match will be played in Adelaide from 30th November. The third Test between India and Australia will be held in Brisbane from 14 December. If we talk about the fourth Test, it will be held in Melbourne from 26th December. The last test match will be played in Sydney from January 3.
