The country’s second richest industrialist Gautam Adani visited the Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited (NMIAL) site and met the projects associated with the project with it. Also, while sharing a short video film on its social media platforms, he said that the upcoming airport is a true gift for India. Gautam Adani wrote in the post that today Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited visited the site and a new world class airport is taking size here.

Adani Group Chairperson said, “The new airport is ready for inauguration in June and will redefine connectivity and growth. It is a true gift for India.” He said, “Congratulations to the Adani Airports team and partners to make this vision a reality.” In December last year, the first commercial verification flight with the landing of Indigo Airlines’ A320 aircraft on NMIAL was successfully completed, which opened the route to the Greenfield Airport to start soon.
This flight test conducted on runway 08/26 monitoring Civil Aviation General (DGCA), Airports Authority of India (AAI), Customs, Immigration, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Maharashtra Municipal Development Corporation and Industrial Development Corporation Limited (CIDCO), India Meteorological Department (IMD), Civil Aviation Safety Bureau (BCAS) along with Aadani Airport Holding Limited Limited Limited Limited Limited (AAHL) and were done by senior officials of other major stakeholders.
Navi Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (NMIAL) has been designed for the development, construction, operation and maintenance of Greenfield International Airport Project in Navi Mumbai. NMIAL is part of Adani Airport Holdings Limited and its 74 percent stake is with Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) and 26 percent stake with CIDCO. CIDCO is an undertaking of the Government of Maharashtra.
