According to the report of Economic Times, the highest demand is being seen in the premium segment. Maruti Suzuki has received 10 percent more bookings in Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka. The company’s deliveries have also increased at the same pace. During this period, the sale of two-wheelers has also increased by about 15 percent. This year, first the Lok Sabha elections and then the weather had a bad impact on the demand for about 5 months. It is being estimated that the demand in the auto industry may increase by about 15 percent during the festive season. During the first 5 months of the current financial year, the average sale of the auto industry has been 3.30 lakh units.
Sales of fridge and washing machine increased, sales increased due to iPhone 16 launch
According to the report, the sale of consumer electronics has increased by about 8 percent compared to last year. During Onam, the sale of refrigerators has increased by about 15 percent. However, the sale of single door refrigerators has declined by about 7 percent. The sale of fully automatic washing machines has gone up by about 13 percent in the same period. The sale of semi-automatic washing machines has also increased by about 5 percent. Due to the iPhone 16 series recently launched by Apple, the demand for the company’s phones has also increased compared to last year. The company started its booking from Friday.
