Babar Azam Dropped from Pakistan Test Team: Pakistan’s team management has surprised the entire cricket world by dropping Babar Azam from the Test squad. One of the main reasons for his dropping is that he has not been able to score even a half-century in the last 18 Test innings. Now one of his teammates has become furious due to Babar being dropped. Fakhar Zaman believes that PCB should show support towards Babar in bad times.
Posting on social media, Fakhar Zaman said, “The dropping of Babar Azam is a matter of concern for the team. India did not drop Virat Kohli during the bad phase between 2020 and 2023. Kohli’s average was less than that.” The days were 19.33, 28.21 and 26.50. If we are thinking of dropping our top batsman then this is not the time to put pressure on him, instead of dropping him. “Needs to be preserved.”
It’s concerning to hear suggestions about dropping Babar Azam. India didn’t bench Virat Kohli during his rough stretch between 2020 and 2023, when he averaged 19.33, 28.21, and 26.50, respectively. If we are considering sidelining our premier batsman, arguably the best Pakistan…

Many Pakistani cricket fans are angry about the dropping of Babar Azam. This is because Babar is struggling with bad form so he was dropped, but on the other hand, under the captaincy of Shan Masood, Pakistan has lost 6 consecutive test matches, yet he has been given the captaincy in the remaining 2 matches against England. Let us tell you that apart from Babar, Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah have also been exempted from the second and third matches.
Pakistan had to face a huge defeat of an innings and 47 runs in the first test match played in Multan. Now the second test match will be played in Multan from 15th October and the third match is to be played in Rawalpindi from 24th October.
