ICC Mens Player Of The Month August, Dunith Wellalage: ICC has announced the Player of the Month for the month of August. Sri Lanka’s young cricketer Dunith Vellalaage has been selected as the Player of the Month for the month of August. Recently, Dunith Vellalaage had displayed a tremendous performance in the series against India. Dunith Vellalaage was selected as the Player of the Series in the series against India. In that series, apart from scoring a half-century, Dunith Vellalaage had taken 5 wickets in the third ODI. Due to which Sri Lanka defeated Team India.

Apart from Dunith Vellalaage, South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj and West Indies’ Joyden Seals were contenders for ICC Player of the Month for August, but Dunith Vellalaage won. After this, ICC has released a video of Dunith Vellalaage. In this video, Dunith Vellalaage is presenting his views. Dunith Vellalaage said that after this award, I will get inspiration to do even better. I will always give my 100 percent for my country. However, I would like to thank my fellow players, due to whom I could win the ICC Player of the Month award.
