Bobby Deol On Daaku Maharaj Collection: Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol starrer film ‘Daku Maharaj’ is scheduled to hit the screens on January 12. The film is earning well in theatres. In such a situation, Bobby Deol is overjoyed. Bobby has made his Telugu debut with ‘Daku Maharaj’ and he is very happy with its strong daily collection.
In a recent interview, Bobby Deol revealed the reason for working in ‘Daku Maharaj’. He said- ‘What attracted me towards this project was its subject. It was very meaningful and I was looking for something that was big and meaningful and full of emotions that the public and the whole of India could connect with.

Talking about the box office collection of ‘Daku Maharaj’, Bobby Deol said- ‘Well, this is an interesting time in my life. It is the beginning of the year and our first Telugu film has been released and it is performing very well. I think director Bobby Koli has done a great job in bringing a very great topic to the audience and giving it so much style and attitude and it has been amazing to work with him. He is a good person.
‘People go crazy’
Bobby Deol further shared his work experience with Nandamuri Balakrishna. He said- ‘If we talk about Bala Sir, he is the God of the people. He says one line and people go crazy. Bobby has presented a different side of him and Bala sir is a wonderful personality. I feel really lucky.
Bobby Deol’s work front
On the work front, Bobby Deol has many films in the pipeline after ‘Daku Maharaj’. These include Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh’s films ‘Alpha’ and ‘Thalapathy 69’. Apart from this, Bobby is also working in an untitled film of Anurag Kashyap.
