BIS Hackathon: The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has announced a new BIS Hackathon. Under this, an online competition is being organized in which common students will have to complete some tasks through online games-interactive activities to give information about Indian Standards. If you want to apply and submit an application in this, then the last date is 23 August, i.e. only 2 days are left.
First prize winner will get Rs 2 lakh and each student will get a certificate
This hackathon, which will provide information about Indian standards, will provide an opportunity to showcase creative skills such as innovation, creative designing and coding skills. Students/participants will get a chance to win prizes other than the first prize of Rs 2 lakh, and every contestant will definitely be given a certificate demonstrating their creative skills.
How can five lakh students apply for BIS Hackathon- know the method
- BIS aims to involve more than 5 lakh student-participants through these hackathon online activities.
- This competition is open to students whose educational institutions have existing MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) with BIS.
- Participants can access the guidelines and submit applications through the official hackathon portal till August 23.
- The good thing is that in this hackathon, students are also being given cash rewards or other prizes under the reward system.
- BIS Hackathon will help in enhancing the creative skills of the students as well as making them more aware through its attractive digital content.

Why did BIS bring a hackathon with a prize money of Rs 2 lakh?
