The actress has been looking for a house to live in Mumbai for a long time but people are not ready to give her a house. Yamini has recently expressed her pain on social media.
While posting on Instagram story, Yamini Malhotra has told that due to being an actress, she is not getting a house in Mumbai. People are not ready to give them houses. They are asking him questions related to religion. In the post, Yamina is seen angry at people having such mentality.
‘Are you a Hindu or a Muslim?’
Yamini wrote in her post- ‘Hello friends, I just want to share something which is really disappointing. As much as I love Mumbai, it is equally difficult to find a house here. I was asked questions like are you a Hindu or a Muslim? Are you Gujarati or Marwari? And as soon as people hear that I am an actress, they deny it outright. Am I not worthy of getting a house because I am an actress?
Yamini got angry on the city of dreams
The ‘Bigg Boss 18’ fame actress further wrote – ‘It is surprising how these questions exist even in 2025. If dreams come with conditions, can we really call it a city of dreams?’
