Kangana Ranaut Received Notice: Troubles for actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut may increase. There is a case pending in Agra Court regarding Kangana Ranaut’s statements which is now to be heard. Agra Court has issued notice to Kangana Ranaut.
In the case of treason and insult to farmers, Special Court MP MLA Anuj Kumar Singh had sent a notice to BJP MP Kangana Ranaut from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, which has been received by her on 19 November 2024. A petition was filed in Agra Court regarding Kangana Ranaut’s earlier statements, in which hearing will now be held on November 28.
Why was the notice sent?
Agra lawyer Ramashankar Sharma, who filed the case against Kangana Ranaut, said that Kangana Ranaut had made indecent comments towards lakhs of farmers who were protesting against the black laws imposed by the Central Government from August 2020 to December 2021 at the Delhi border. He said that murders, rapes were taking place there and if the leadership of the country had not been strong at that time, a situation like Bangladesh would have arisen.

Apart from this, Kangana Ranaut made a comment against the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on 17 November 2021 in which she had said that by slapping the cheek one gets alms, not freedom and the freedom that was achieved in 1947 was found in the begging bowl of Mahatma Gandhi. Kangana Ranaut had also said that real independence was achieved in 2014 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government came to power at the Centre. The lawyer has said in his letter that in this way Kangana Ranaut has insulted crores of farmers of the country by calling them murderers, rapists and extremists.

It is also alleged in the letter that Kangana has insulted the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi by saying that the independence she got in 1947 was given by begging. Along with this, the actress has insulted lakhs of patriotic martyrs of the country like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru Sukhdev Chandrashekhar Azad Ashfaq Ullah Khan, who were hanged for the freedom of the country. The lawyer says that lakhs of freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad have endured jail torture, but Kangana has insulted them all with her comment.
When will he appear in court?
After hearing the arguments in the court on 13 November 2024, the court had issued a notice to Kangana Ranaut. According to the notice, Kangana Ranaut will have to appear in the court on 28 November 2024 at 10 am and present her side either herself or through her advocate. The court also said in its notice that if Kangana does not appear on November 28, the hearing will proceed in the court.
