New NCA Inauguration Date: The new National Cricket Academy (NCA) is going to be inaugurated soon in Bengaluru. According to Cricbuzz, the new academy will be inaugurated on 28 September. In this regard, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has sent a notice to the state cricket associations through e-mail. Let us tell you that a media report that came out a few days ago said that the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi (PM Modi) may come to inaugurate the new NCA.
What was sent in the email?
In an e-mail sent by Jai Shah to the state cricket associations, it was written, “I hope you all are well. It is our privilege to have the opportunity to invite you to the inauguration of the new National Cricket Academy built in Bengaluru on 28 September 2024.”
The new NCA has 3 world-class cricket grounds, 45 pitches for practice, and an indoor cricket pitch. Apart from this, an Olympic-sized swimming pool has been prepared, while many facilities related to recovery and sports science will be available here. This new academy will give our emerging and upcoming cricketers the experience of training in the best environment. The email further stated that the support of everyone has been incomparable in this campaign. Jai Shah expressed hope that everyone should take time out of their busy schedule to enhance the value of this new academy.
PM Modi will inaugurate it
PM Modi may come to inaugurate the new academy. Let us tell you that the BCCI’s annual meeting is also to be held a day after the inauguration, but it has not been confirmed yet. Meanwhile, there is speculation that there will be no discussion on the new secretary in the annual meeting, but discussions on many other topics are possible.
