BCCI Announce India Squad for T20I Series Bangladesh: BCCI has announced the Indian team for the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh starting from October 6. Suryakumar Yadav will be seen captaining the team and Mayank Yadav has also been given a chance to debut for Team India in this upcoming series. The first match of the series will be played on 6 October, the second match on 9 October and the last match of the series on 12 October.
A few days ago, Indian T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav suffered a hand injury during the Buchi Babu tournament. Surya is now completely fit and will be captaining the Indian team in the T20 series running from 6-12 October. Mystery spin bowler Varun Chakraborty played his last match for India in the year 2021. He is returning to Team India after 3 years. Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma have been kept as wicketkeeper options. Samson had earlier been out on the score of zero in both the matches of the series against Sri Lanka.
Mayank Yadav, who played for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024, has also got a chance to debut. Mayank created a sensation in the recent season of IPL by continuously bowling at a speed of 150 km per hour. Abhishek Sharma did not get a chance to play in the series against Sri Lanka, but before that he made a explosive entry in Team India by scoring a century against Zimbabwe. Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh will take charge of the fast bowling, while the Indian team will have 3 fast bowling all-rounders in the form of Shivam Dubey, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Hardik Pandya.
