Meanwhile, news of Bangladesh’s Hindu cricketer Liton Das’ house being burnt down also went viral on social media. It was being said that the protesters set fire to Liton Das’ house. Now Liton Das himself has broken his silence on this news.
Liton Das reacted to the news of his house being burnt down through Facebook. He shared a post in Bangla and said that all the news of his house being burnt down are false and he is completely safe. He has not suffered any kind of loss.
Liton Das wrote in his post, “Dear countrymen, I want to respectfully tell everyone one thing. Recently there have been reports of an attack on our house in different media, which has no truth. No one listens to these rumors. I and my family are completely safe so far. I believe that our country is a secular country. Mashrafe Murtaza’s house was burnt down
