FIR Against Mashrafe Murtaza: Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan was accused of murder during the ongoing protests in Bangladesh. Now, along with Shakib, the name of former Bangladesh cricket team captain Mashrafe Mortaza has also been added to this list. A few days ago, a case has been registered against Mortaza at the Naril Sardar Police Station on charges of attacking protesting students in the country’s capital Dhaka. Not only this, an FIR has also been registered against Mortaza’s father.
This FIR was lodged on 10 September by a person named Sheikh Mustafa. He has named 90 people including Mashrafe Murtaza and his father for creating unrest in the country by attacking students. Earlier, when Shakib Al Hasan was accused of murder, after the end of the Test series against Pakistan, he did not return to his country but went to England to play county cricket.
This statement has been issued regarding the case filed against Mashrafe Murtaza that Mashrafe Murtaza and his father, Ghulam Murtaza were also present in the rally held on Sunday, 4th August. Meanwhile, the government was overthrown, due to which Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister and came to India. A few days later, the news came that Mashrafe’s house was set on fire during the protest. Pictures of the flames in the house went viral on social media.
It is also worth noting that Mashrafe Murtaza is going to return to cricket soon. He will soon be seen playing for Detroit Falcons in the US T10 League. India’s Suresh Raina, Munaf Patel and Parthiv Patel as well as Pakistani legends Mohammad Hafeez and Misbah-ul-Haq will also be seen playing in this league.
