IPL 2025 Marquee Players List: Before the IPL 2025 mega auction, two lists of marquee players were prepared by separating 12 players. On one hand, many famous players like Rishabh Pant and Kagiso Rabada are included in the first list. If we look at the second list, four Indian and two foreign players have been included in it. Among the six players included in the second set of marquee players, David Miller is the only one who has kept his base price below Rs 2 crore.

KL Rahul was captaining Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for the last three seasons. He is a world-class wicketkeeper and has made 63 dismissals in his IPL career. Rahul is also one of the most successful batsmen in the history of the Indian Premier League. So far he has scored 4,683 runs in 123 innings of IPL. When a franchise is getting a captain, a world-class wicketkeeper and an excellent batsman in one player, then which franchise would not want to bid on him?
KL Rahul’s salary in IPL 2024?
LSG had given a salary of Rs 17 crore to KL Rahul to play in IPL 2024. Rahul has come a long way in the Indian Premier League. In 2013, RCB bought him for just Rs 10 lakh, after which he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2014-2017 and during these four seasons, he got a salary of Rs 1 crore. From 2018-2021, Punjab Kings gave him Rs 11 crore as salary and after joining the Lucknow team, he was getting Rs 17 crore for playing one season.
