Ayushmati Geeta Metric Pass Review: You must have heard the slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao a lot. You might have seen it written at many places, but there are still many places where questions are raised as to why to educate the daughter and how to educate. This film takes this slogan forward, and tells that education is not only important for the daughter, but also for the mother, sister-in-law, maternal aunt and aunt. The film raises important issues and expresses its views in a simple manner. Director Pradeep Khairwar has made this story effectively in a small budget.
Story
Geeta’s mother, who lives in Banaras, had a dream that she should pass matriculation, but on the result day, Geeta’s relationship comes and Geeta fails. Geeta’s father disapproves of the relationship but the boy and girl like each other because they have met before. Then something happens that Geeta has to leave the village and is forced to get married, but Geeta cannot marry without passing matriculation. Then what happens, see it in the theatre, support small and good films, only then will someone be able to muster the courage to make good cinema.
how is the movie
The issue this film raises is very important. The film opens in a fun manner, then the film progresses at a good pace, explaining why education is important and also exposing the scams of the education system. Watching the film you feel why the slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao is necessary, the budget and production value of the film is certainly small but the objective of the film is big and it succeeds in its objective.
acting
Atul Srivastava is the life of the film, he is such an amazing and experienced actor that his acting cannot be reviewed. Here too he has brought life to the character of Geeta’s father. Alka Amin’s work is good. The lead pair of this film disappointed in terms of acting otherwise it would have been a better film. Looking at both Kashika Kapoor and Anuj Saini, it seems that they have not even passed 5th class, leave alone matriculation in acting. He is unable to give good expressions and looking at him it seems that he still needs to learn a lot in acting. The work of the new Panchayat Secretary Vinod Suryavanshi is good. Prannoy Dixit’s work is good, Aruna Giri has also left an impact in a small role.
Overall, this film should be watched because only if you watch such films, you will have the courage to make good films.
