Arjun faced a lot of difficulties in the beginning of his career. The actor gave 14 flop films back to back. He gave flop films like Fox, I See You, Ek Ajnabee, Yakin, Ailaan, Vaada, Asambhav, Tehzeeb, Dil Ka Rishta, Aankhen, Moksh, Deewanapan, Pyaar Ishq and Mohabbat.
There was no money even to pay the rent
In an interview given to Pop Diaries, Arjun told that after Moksh, he had no work and was not even able to pay the rent.
Arjun said- At that time I did not have any source of income. I lived in Seven Bungalows in Andheri Mumbai. My landlord was very nice. He would come on the first of every month and look at me and I would look at him. He says- No? And I used to nod my head yes. He says- No one will give it. He was a very good person. You need such people in life.
In 2006, Arjun was seen in the film Don. It was from here that his career revived. Two years later, he appeared in Rock On and received his first National Award for Best Supporting Actor.
