Ambuja Cements: Ambuja, a part of the Adani Group, on Saturday informed that it is going to set up a cement grinding unit with a capacity of 6 MTPA in Warisaliganj, Nawada, Bihar. For this, the company will invest a total of Rs 1600 crore in the state. The special thing is that this will be the company’s first investment in Bihar. This entire project is planned to be implemented in three phases. The first phase will be of 2.4 MTPA, in which it is planned to be started by December 2025 with an investment of Rs 1100 crore.
The company has also informed that sufficient land has been provided for further expansion in future. It will be operational on time with very little capital expenditure. This project is being started in Mosama village of Warisaliganj tehsil of Nawada district of Bihar, which is well connected by both railway and road.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone of BIADA
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his excitement while laying the foundation stone of Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) on Saturday. Expressing his excitement over the investment by Adani Group, he said that the investment by Adani Group is a proof of his government’s commitment towards development. In the days to come, the people of the state will witness spectacular development.
Both deputy CMs were present along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar along with Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were also present on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority. Managing Director and Director of Adani Enterprises Limited Pranav Adani has said that this investment is beneficial for both the state and the company. He also said that in the last few years, due to the government’s emphasis on infrastructure, the cement industry has seen a lot of growth. In such a situation, Ambuja Cements will continue to work for the infrastructure development of the country.

250 crore rupees revenue and more than 1000 jobs will be generated
Through this investment, the state government will get an annual revenue of Rs 250 crore. Along with this, a total of 250 people will get direct employment in the state. At the same time, 1,000 people will get the benefit of indirect jobs. Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has allotted a total of 67.9 acres of land for setting up the cement unit. In such a situation, the company says that this is sufficient. This unit will be operational by December 2025.
Apart from this, Ambuja Cements has been allotted a total of 26.60 acres of land for another cement project in Mahbal, Motipur Industrial Area, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The process of environmental clearance for this is currently underway and work on this project will also start soon.
