Indian Team Next Series IND vs SA Coach: Team India suffered a 3-0 defeat in the Test series played against New Zealand. This was the first time in the history of Indian cricket that a team whitewashed India in a three-match Test series in India. India had to face this shameful defeat under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and the coaching of Gautam Gambhir. Now Team India will play the next series against South Africa, in which Gambhir will not be seen as the coach.
Team India will play a four-match T20 series on the South Africa tour, which will start from 08 November, while it will conclude on 15 November. Meanwhile, Team India has to leave for Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In such a situation, it will not be possible for Gambhir to go on Africa tour with Team India.
According to reports, Team India will leave for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on around 4th November. In such a situation, it will not be possible for Gambhir to go with Team India. Therefore, in place of Gambhir, VVS Laxman will be seen as the head coach of Team India on the Africa tour. This will happen because the series to be played between India and South Africa was not decided earlier. Along with Laxman, Sairaj Bahutule, Hrishikesh Kanitkar and Subhadeep Ghosh can also be seen in the coaching staff on the Africa tour.
Let us tell you that this will not be the first time that VVS Laxman will be seen as the head coach of Team India. This has happened many times before during Rahul Dravid’s tenure when Laxman has taken over the responsibility of head coach.
