Umran Malik IPL 2025 KKR: Umran Malik got a chance to play only one match in IPL 2024, in which he bowled only one over. Umran was a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad last season. Now Umran has been bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the mega auction of IPL 2025. Umran looked very excited after joining KKR.
Umran said that this time he will be seen in a different form in IPL. Apart from this he said that he will take a lot of wickets this season. Umran also talked about his return to Team India.
Speaking to Times of India, Umran said, “I am very happy to join KKR this season. I am very excited to wear the KKR jersey. I can’t wait. I am grateful and thankful to them for giving me this opportunity.” I am sure that this time I will get ample opportunities with KKR and I am eager to go.
Umran Malik further said, “You will see a different Umran Malik this time. I want to perform well in the IPL and make a comeback in the Indian team. IPL has been a big platform for most of the cricketers including me.”
Umran then further said, “I am going to kill in this IPL 2025. I am confident of taking many wickets this time and I just want to go and perform for KKR. The speed gives me a thrill. I don’t know if I Whether I will be able to touch 160 or not, but I am sure I will take a lot of wickets at 150 speed.”
Umran Malik’s IPL career
Umran Malik made his IPL debut in 2021 while playing for Sunrajers Hyderabad. He has played 26 IPL matches so far. While bowling in 26 innings of these matches, Umran has taken 29 wickets at an average of 26.62, in which his best bowling figure was 5/25.
