Adani Group, one of the country’s most prominent business groups, is going to make a big investment in Madhya Pradesh. The group has announced to set up two new projects in the state by investing Rs 3,500 crore. This investment is expected to create thousands of new employment opportunities in the state.
Karan Adani announced it a day earlier
Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, announced this proposed investment on Wednesday. Giving information about the plan to expand his group’s presence in Madhya Pradesh, he said that the Adani Group company will invest Rs 3,500 crore to set up 2 projects in the state.
Adani group will set up these two projects
The two new projects that will be set up with the proposed investment will be a propellant production plant in Shivpuri, while apart from that a cement grinding unit will be set up in Guna, which will have a capacity of 2 million tonnes per annum. Karan Adani gave information about both the projects at an industry conclave held in Gwalior.
More than 3,500 new employment opportunities
Karan Adani said that his group already has a big investment in Madhya Pradesh. The group has already invested more than 18 thousand crore rupees in businesses like cement, defense, road, thermal power, renewable power and transmission. Now the investment of Rs 3,500 crore will create more than 3,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the state. According to the CEO of Adani Ports, the project being set up in Shivpuri is in line with the government’s vision of making the country an exporter in the defense sector.
Investment of Rs 1,600 crore in Bihar
Adani Group is continuously expanding its presence in North India and is accelerating work on new projects. This month, the group announced a big investment in Bihar. Adani Group is setting up a big cement project in Warisaliganj, Bihar, which will have an annual capacity of 6 million tonnes. Adani Group is going to invest Rs 1,600 crore on that project.
