Kriti Sanon On Nepotism: Questions have often been raised about nepotism in the film industry. Many actors and actresses have openly expressed their opinion on this issue. Now Kriti Sanon has talked about nepotism, she has also admitted that it is difficult for outsiders to get opportunities in the film industry.
Recently, Kriti Sanon attended a masterclass at the ongoing 55th International Film Festival in Goa. During this he said that the film industry is not responsible for nepotism. Rather, the media and audience have made the industry addicted to it.
‘The film industry is so big for nepotism…’
Kriti Sanon said- ‘I think the film industry is not that responsible for nepotism. These are the media and the audience. The audience wants to see what the media is saying about some star kids. Because the audience is interested in them, the industry feels that if the audience is interested then let’s make a film with them. So I think it’s a circle. But I think if you have talent you will get there. If you are not talented and do not have a connection with the audience, you will not be able to get there.
‘If you are not from a film background then you…’
The actress further said- ‘When you are not from a film background, it takes time for you to reach there. It takes time to get the opportunities you want. It also takes time for you to get those magazine covers. So there is a little struggle in everything. But after 2-3 films, if you keep working hard and are successful in it, then nothing can stop you.
