IPL 2025 Mega Auction: The mega auction of IPL 2025 is over. It was organized in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Rs 639.15 crore was spent on 182 players in the mega auction. This time 62 foreign players were bought in the auction. All the records of the auction till now were also broken. Rishabh Pant has become the most expensive player in history. He was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 27 crore. Whereas Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the youngest player. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals.
If we look at the top five most expensive players of the auction, then Rishabh Pant is at the top. Shreyas Iyer is at number two. Punjab Kings bought him for Rs 26.75 crore. Venkatesh Iyer was the third most expensive player. He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 23.75 crore. Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal were also bought by Punjab Kings. Both of them will get equal salary.

This time there were many big players in the auction who were not sold. The first name among these is that of David Warner. Warner’s base price was Rs 2 crore. But no one bought them. Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson, Steve Smith, Finn Allen, Shardul Thakur and Mustafizur Rahman also remained unsold. Along with these, no one bid on Naveen Ul Haq, Daryl Mitchell, Riley Rousseau and James Vinci. India’s Mayank Agarwal also remained unsold.
Youngest player Vaibhav Suryavanshi becomes millionaire –
Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the youngest player to be sold in the mega auction. Vaibhav is only 13 years old. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.10 crore. Vaibhav has made a big splash at a young age. He has scored a century for the Indian Under-19 team. Vaibhav had scored a century against Australia in a match.

Chennai Super Kings bought a total of 25 players in the auction. There are 7 foreign players in it. Delhi Capitals bought 23 players. There are 7 foreign players in it. Gujarat Titans bought a total of 25 players including 7 foreigners. Kolkata Knight Riders bought 21 players including 8 foreigners. Lucknow Super Giants bought a total of 24 players. There are 6 foreign players in it. Mumbai Indians took 23 players. There are 8 foreigners in it. Punjab Kings bought 25 players. There are 8 foreigners in it. Rajasthan bought 20 players including 6 foreigners. Royal Challengers Bangalore took 22 players. There are 8 foreigners in it. Sunrisers Hyderabad bought 20 foreign players. There are 7 foreigners in it.
