Anshul Kamboj CSK IPL 2025: Chennai Super Kings has bought Anshul Kamboj in the IPL 2025 mega auction. They have been sold for about 11 times more than the base price. CSK has bought Anshul for Rs 3.40 crore. He was earlier a part of Mumbai Indians. But Mumbai had released it. Anshul had teased Shreyas Iyer after getting him out in a match. Although this matter was not much discussed.
Anshul has bowled well on many occasions. Delhi Capitals made the first bid on him in the mega auction. But after this she was out of the bid. The fight for Anshul went on till the end between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai had made the last bid of Rs 1.80 crore. But Chennai bought him for Rs 3.40 crore. Anshul’s base price was Rs 30 lakh.
When Anshul teased Shreyas Iyer after taking the wicket –
Actually this matter is of IPL 2024. Anshul was a part of Mumbai Indians and Shreyas Iyer was the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders. The match between Mumbai and Kolkata was played at Eden Gardens on 11 May. KKR came on the field to bat first. For that, Captain Iyer came to bat at number four. But he could not do anything special and was out after scoring 7 runs. He was bowled by Anshul Kamboj. Anshul greeted Iyer after taking the wicket. Iyer also appeared a little irritated by this.

Anshul Kamboj has made his IPL debut since last season. He has played only 3 matches in IPL so far. During this period, 2 wickets have been taken. Anshul’s overall T20 record has been good. He has taken 26 wickets in 17 T20 matches. Whereas he has taken 23 wickets in 15 List A matches.
