IPL 2025 Mega Auction: Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer broke all the records of IPAC auction. Both these players became the most expensive players in IPL history. Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 27 crore. While Iyer was bought by Punjab Kings. Punjab and Lucknow have got new captains. Pant and Iyer may get the responsibility. But official information regarding this has not been revealed yet.
Rishabh Pant was a part of Delhi Capitals. But the team released him. Delhi tried to buy Pant in the auction. But Pant was bought by Lucknow. His base price was Rs 2 crore. But sold for Rs 27 crores. Now Pant can become the captain of Lucknow. The captain of Lucknow was KL Rahul. But Delhi bought Rahul.
Shreyas Iyer can become the captain of Punjab Kings –
Iyer was a part of Kolkata Knight Riders. He has also captained the team. But KKR released him. Iyer is now part of Punjab Kings. He was the second most expensive player in IPL history. Punjab bought Shreyas for Rs 26.75 crore. Now Punjab can also make Shreyas the captain.

Gujarat Titans spent money on Jos Buttler –
Butler was bought by Gujarat Titans. His base price was Rs 2 crore. But Gujarat bought him for Rs 15.75 crore. Butler was earlier a part of Rajasthan Royals. But now he will play for Gujarat. He can play under the captaincy of Shubman Gill.
