Sunil Gavaskar on Gautam Gambhir Coaching: Indian cricket team’s head coach Gautam is under serious criticism. There is disappointment among the Indian camp as well as the fans due to the 0-3 defeat in the Test series against New Zealand. Earlier, under Gambhir, India had lost 0-2 in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Now veteran Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has made a scathing attack on Gambhir regarding the performance of Team India.
According to India Today, Sunil Gavaskar said that seeing the results of the series clearly shows that it is a very bad defeat. He said, “The results themselves are telling everything. After a long time, the Indian team had lost in the ODI series in Sri Lanka. Now this defeat at the hands of New Zealand seems very useless. I believe that every team There are some people who think closely. It is the captain, the vice-captain and the coach who take the decisions. If their strategies are not working then it is not good for the team.”
The future of the Indian team is in danger…
After Gautam Gambhir became the coach, there has been a decline in the form of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Indian batting has failed miserably due to the absence of these two senior players. Expressing concern on this subject, Sunil Gavaskar said, “If Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma do not score runs in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, then everyone will start demanding a new team for the series against England next year.”
On one hand, captain Rohit Sharma scored 91 runs in 6 innings of three matches against New Zealand. On the other hand, only 93 runs came out of Kohli’s bat in 6 innings. In this recent series, the average of both the senior players was a little more than 15.
