PM Kisan Yojana: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme of the Central Government, farmers will now get the benefit of the 18th installment. This important condition has to be fulfilled
To avail the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, the central government has made the process of e-KYC mandatory for a long time. Along with this, it is also mandatory to complete the verification of the land. Beneficiaries who do not fulfill these conditions will not get the benefit of the next installment of the scheme. In such a situation, if you have not completed these tasks yet, then do it today.
Do e-KYC online like this-
The beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana get the facility to do KYC both online as well as offline. Know the process of online e-KYC
- For this, first of all you visit the official website of PM Kisan Scheme pmkisan.gov.in.
- Next, go to the home page and select the e-KYC option in the Farmer Corner section.
- Next, go to the e-KYC page and enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
- After this click on the search option.
- After this you will have to enter your registered mobile number.
- As soon as you enter the number there, an OTP will come on your mobile, enter it here.
- Enter OTP and click on submit button.
- After this your e-KYC process will be completed.
- You will receive its message on your mobile.
E-KYC can also be done offline
Along with online, the government is also providing the facility of offline e-KYC to farmers. You can complete the process of e-KYC by visiting your nearest Common Service Center. For this, you will have to pay some fee. While completing the process of e-KYC, keep in mind that your bank account must be linked to Aadhaar. Otherwise this process will not be completed.
When will I get the benefit of the 18th installment?
It is worth noting that PM Kisan Scheme is one of the ambitious schemes of the Central Government which was started in the year 2019. Under this scheme, the government transfers Rs 6000 every year to the farmers’ account in a total of three installments. Small and marginal farmers get the benefit of this scheme. So far 17 installments have been released under the scheme and now farmers are waiting for the 18th installment. According to media reports, the benefit of the next installment can be available in October 2024. So far no official information has been given in this matter.
