Prasar Bharati’s OTT platform will be equipped with these facilities
In the post, Prasar Bharati has given detailed information about the facilities of Waves. Waves will have video on demand, free-to-play gaming, radio online streaming, live TV streaming, 65 live channels, video and gaming content. These facilities will be available in more than 12 languages. According to Prasar Bharati, Waves’ digital experience combines the Indian ethos with an advanced and feel-friendly user interface.
Will Waves compete with Netflix-Jio Cinema?
In this era of OTT, there are already a plethora of OTT platforms. OTT platforms like Netflix, Jio Cinema, Prime Video, Disney Plus Hotstar, Zee5 and Sony Liv remain people’s choice with subscription. Recently Jio Cinema and Hotstar have merged together to become JioStar.com. Now after the entry of Waves in the market, competition for these OTT platforms has increased.
