CEO: Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu, who has made a name for himself among billionaires for his unique lifestyle, has now drawn people’s attention to a burning issue. He said that the rising fees of schools and colleges is a matter of concern. The main reason for this is the rising real estate prices in villages and cities. Sridhar Vembu has said that the rising price of land will not only affect education but also retail and health.
Studying will become impossible due to rising land prices
Sridhar Vembu, who is included in the list of billionaires, is worried about the rising prices of land. He wrote on the social media platform X that education is gradually becoming so expensive that it will become difficult for people to educate their children. Along with cities, the prices of real estate are skyrocketing in towns and villages as well. This is not a good sign. Apart from education, building a house and health services will also become expensive due to this.
Corruption money in politics is being invested in real estate
Sridhar Vembu made this comment on the post of Aviral Bhatnagar, a venture capitalist from Bangalore. Aviral had posted that the fees of LKG in Hyderabad has become Rs 3.7 lakh per month. Zoho CEO wrote that a lot of money generated from corruption in politics is being invested in real estate. Due to this, the prices of real estate are rising unnecessarily. In a way, we all are paying the price of corruption spread in politics by paying higher fees, buying expensive houses and paying extra money for treatment.
Education has become increasingly unaffordable. A good part of it due to urban real estate (and even real estate around small towns) becoming extremely expensive; that affects education, health care and of course, housing and retail as well.

People have been raising the issue of rising fees on social media
Earlier, a man from Delhi had posted that he is paying 4.3 lakh rupees as play school fees for his child. Apart from this, a person from Gurugram had written that he is paying 30 thousand rupees as monthly fees for his child studying in class 3. He claims that CBSE board schools increase the fees by 10 percent every year. If this continues, he will have to pay 9 lakh rupees annually when his child reaches 12th standard.
