Zara has apologized for its new collection of children’s T-shirts. Zara clarified that the word snack used on the Zara T-shirt was used only for strawberries and not for anything else. Spain’s famous retail clothing chain ZARA is facing criticism on social media due to children’s clothing.
What is the whole matter?
Actually, Zara recently had a strawberry print on children’s T-shirts. On which it was written in black and red color “The Perfect Snack” on the left and “The Strawberry: A Small Burst of Sweet Joy” on the right. After this, the woman called the print of this T-shirt ‘sexually suggestive’. After which Zara had to remove this T-shirt from all its showrooms.
what was written on the t-shirt
Sharing the video of the T-shirt, Laura Wilson, a resident of London, wrote that Zara has used the word snack on girls’ T-shirts. It is directly used to be sexually attractive. Saying this, Laura wrote while sharing the video. Two parts of a strawberry are shown on the back of the T-shirt. One part is cut in half. The inside part is visible in one part. This is a perfect snack for summer. Laura Wilson, a 32-year-old mother of two children living in London, said that this garment was in the girls’ section of the clothing brand’s store in Bluewater Shopping Center in Kent.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Laura Wilson says
I’m not very sensitive about clothes, and this was in the girls’ section. Wait till you see the back. If you bought this for your child, in my opinion you need to have a serious talk with yourself. ‘I’m so shocked,’ she said. ‘Eat.. is it just me? Or is this not okay? I would never want to see my girls in this T-shirt.
Explaining what it meant, she told the Daily Mail that it made her feel very uncomfortable. I went in to browse and saw this T-shirt and all I saw was ‘Perfect Snack’ written on it. I was immediately shocked by that. I read the other side and thought it was okay.
