Uttar Pradesh government has now announced another new district in UP. Yogi government has declared the fair area as a new district for organizing Prayagraj Mahakumbh. Recently, while issuing the notification of a new district named Mahakumbh Mela, it was told that all those procedures will be adopted in the Mahakumbh Mela district, which are necessary for the operation of any other district.
In simple language, Now there will be a separate DM, police captain, police station and posts for the fair area. However, this is not happening for the first time. Even before this, notification of new district has been issued by the UP government on the occasion of Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh.
What is the budget of Yogi government for the new district p>
Let us tell you, the Yogi government had presented the budget for the Maha Kumbh Mela in the 76th district of UP in the financial year 2023-24 itself. In February 2023, Yogi government had told that the budget presented by him for the fair is Rs 2500 crore. Let us tell you, earlier a budget of Rs 621.55 crore was presented for the Kumbh Mela in the financial year 2022-23.
Who will be the officers of this district
If we talk about the appointment of officers in the 76th district of UP, the Collector will be Meladhikari Vijay Kiran Anand. At the same time, Rajesh Dwivedi has already been appointed as SSP. Let us tell you, the Maha Kumbh Mela district includes the entire parade area and 67 villages of four tehsils Sadar, Soraon, Phulpur and Karchana.
