WPL 2025 Retention Full List UP Warriorz: UP Warriors has released the retention list for the Women’s Premier League 2025 (WPL 2025). UP has retained a total of 15 players including Deepti Sharma. UP has released four players. It includes Lakshmi Yadav, Parshvi Chopra, Lauren Bell and S Yashasree. The retention list includes Tahlia McGrath, Grace Harris and Chamari Atapattu.
UP Warriors has retained India’s legendary player Deepti. He had performed well in the last season. Shweta Sehrawat, Poonam Khemnar, Anjali Sarwani and Saima Thakor are also included in the written release. Chamari Atapattu, Tahlia McGrath and Grace Harris have also been given a chance again.
UP’s performance in the last season was like this –
UP Warriors did not perform well in WPL 2024. The team had not even reached the playoffs. UP played a total of 8 matches in the last season. During this period, only 3 matches were won and 5 matches were lost. UP had started with defeat. He lost the first two matches. After this won two consecutive matches. Even after this, they again lost two consecutive matches. Although Deepti had performed well.
Deepti Sharma had shown her strength –
Deepti showed her strength in batting as well as bowling. He had taken 10 wickets in 8 matches. Along with this, 295 runs were also scored. Deepti had scored 3 half-centuries. His best score was 88 runs not out. Sophia took the most wickets for UP in the last season. He had taken 11 wickets in 8 matches.
