Women’s Premier League 2025 Auction: Important news has come out regarding the auction of Women’s Premier League 2025. According to a report, it can be organized in Bangalore on 15th December. Recently the mega auction of IPL 2025 was organized. It was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. But the Women’s Premier League auction will be held in India only. All the WPL teams had already released the retained list of players.
According to a news in India Today, the auction of Women’s Premier League can be organized in Bangalore on December 15. However, official information regarding this has not been revealed yet. Gujarat Giants will have the most money in the auction. He currently has Rs 4.40 crore available. Delhi Capitals will have the least money. He has Rs 2.50 crore. UP Warriors have Rs 3.90 crore. Whereas Mumbai has Rs 2.64 crore.
Five teams had retained 71 players –
All five teams of WPL have released the retained list. Now there is space available for 19 players in the auction. It has 5 slots for foreign players. Rs 16.7 crore will be spent on 19 players in the Women’s Premier League auction. Before this, Rs 58.3 crore had been spent in retention. The five teams of WPL had retained a total of 71 players.
