World’s Largest Concert: Diljit Dosanjh started his Dil-Luminati Tour India from Delhi. A huge crowd of fans was seen in this spectacular concert held on two days, Saturday and Sunday. If reports are to be believed, 35 thousand people had attended Diljit Dosanjh’s Delhi concert. But do you know about the world’s largest concert?
The world’s biggest concert took place 30 years ago in which a crowd of lakhs had gathered. In this concert, 100 times more people participated than the fans who had gathered during Diljit Dosanjh’s tour in Delhi. This concert took place on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro in December 1994. It was hosted on New Year’s Eve and its entry was also free.
35 lakh people attended the concert
On December 31, 1994, Rod Stewart performed in this beach concert in Copacabana. Apart from the entry being free, there were no restrictions on food and liquor. It is said that 35 lakh people had attended this concert, which was more than the population of many neighboring cities. Three years later, French musician Jean-Michel Jarre hosted a live concert in Moscow. Its entry was also free and a crowd of 35 lakh fans had gathered in this concert also.
These are the big ticketed concerts
In such a situation, it can be said that the crowd is more in the concerts with free entry. The biggest ticketed music concert was of Italian artist Vasco Rossi. This concert took place in Modena Park in the year 2017 in which 2.25 lakh people participated. After this, the biggest ticketed music concert in India was of Justin Bieber and Diljit Dosanjh.
