Pakistan out of the tournament
India, Pakistan and Nepal were placed in Group B in the Women’s Under-19 Asia Cup. In the group match, Team India had already defeated Pakistan by 9 wickets. If the Pakistan team wanted to enter the Super-4, then it had to win over Nepal at any cost. Well, now Nepal has made it to the Super-4 stage by registering a memorable victory.
If we look at Group A, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and tournament host Malaysia were given place in it. In this group, Sri Lanka is currently at the top of the table after registering one win in 2 matches. Bangladesh and Malaysia have a match left in this group. Looking at the net run rate, there are high chances that only Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will go to the Super-4 stage.
