Lucknow Super Giants Rohit Sharma 50 Crore: IPL 2025 will be very interesting because a mega auction is to be held before that. Many big changes can be seen in the teams before the mega auction. Many star players can move from one team to another, which also includes the name of Rohit Sharma. There are strong rumors about Hitman that Mumbai Indians will release him and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will buy him for Rs 50 crore. So how much truth is there in these things, this was revealed by Lucknow’s owner Sanjeev Goenka himself.
While talking to ‘Sports Tak’, the owner of Lucknow revealed the truth about the rumour of buying Rohit Sharma.
Sanjiv Goenka was asked that there are reports that Lucknow has kept Rs 50 crore aside for Rohit Sharma?
Responding to this, he said, “You tell me one thing, do you or anyone else know whether Rohit Sharma is coming to the auction or not? All these speculations are unnecessary. Whether Mumbai Indians will release Rohit Sharma or not, whether he is coming to the auction or not, even if he comes, you are going to use 50 percent of your salary cap on one player, then how will you manage the remaining 22 players?”
Then after this he was asked whether Rohit Sharma is in his wish list? In response to this Sanjiv Goenka said, “Everyone has their own wish list. You want the best player, the best captain in your team. It is not about wishing. What you have and what is available. What can you do with it. This is the thing. I can wish for anyone but the same thing applies to all franchises. You will not get everyone.” However, Sanjiv Goenka did not give a direct answer.
