Now Neeraj has revealed in a press conference why he could not touch the 90 meter mark. Neeraj revealed many of his shortcomings. He said that he was fully prepared mentally, but not physically.

I couldn’t push myself to the best. Mentally I was ready but physically I was retraining myself. My footwork on the runway was not as it should have been. My efforts were going in vain. After Nadeem’s throw, my throw was good because I was very positive.”
