Why is there protest against Guru Randhawa’s film ‘Shahkot’?

Punjab’s famous singer Guru Randhawa has a lot of followers. Guru Randhawa’s new film Shahkot is upcoming and he is promoting it everywhere. Sometimes in Delhi and sometimes somewhere. Recently what happened is that many people have become offended after watching the trailer of his film Shahkot. Many people allege that Shahkot is supporting Pakistan. A lot of protests are taking place regarding this. In Punjab, posters have been burnt and protests have been held on the streets. After this Guru Randhawa’s statement has come that people are misunderstanding the film. Whereas we want to take the film in a different direction.
