Anshul Kamboj 10 Wickets Ranji Trophy: Anshul Kamboj has created a record of taking all 10 wickets in a single innings of Ranji Trophy. He is only the third player to do so in the history of Ranji Trophy. Anshul plays domestic cricket for Haryana and he achieved this feat on the third day of the match against Kerala. Let us tell you that Anshul Kamboj has played for Mumbai Indians in IPL, but he has not been retained by the MI franchise for IPL 2025.
Before Anshul, Premangshu Chatterjee of Bengal and Pradeep Sundaram of Rajasthan have done this. Anshul bowled 30.1 overs in the fifth round match against Kerala, in which he was successful in taking all 10 wickets for 49 runs. By the end of the second day in the Haryana vs Kerala match, Anshul had taken 8 wickets, while on the morning of the third day, he took the wickets of Basil Thampi and then Shaun Roger to take Kerala to the score of 291.
Dhoni’s partner’s record broken
Earlier, the best performance by a bowler for Haryana was in the name of Joginder Sharma. Joginder took 8 wickets in an innings against Vidarbha in the 2004-2005 season. Anshul was seen playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024 this year. He played 3 matches and also took 2 wickets. His performance in the first season was highly appreciated. Anshul comes from Karnal, Haryana and has played 18 matches and taken 47 wickets in his first-class career.
Haryana made champion
Anshul Kamboj was recently seen playing for India A in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup. He created a sensation with his amazing performance in Duleep Trophy 2024 also. During Duleep Trophy, he had achieved the feat of taking 8 wickets in a single innings. Haryana is the defending champion in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Anshul Kamboj played an important role in making his team the champion by taking 17 wickets in 10 matches.
