Who called Zakir Hussain Ustaad for the first time?

Zakir Hussain, born on 9 March 1951 and died on 15 December 2024, was one of the most famous tabla players of India. He was the son of the great tabla player Ustad Allah Rakha. Zakir Hussain achieved many heights in the field of music in his life. The Government of India also honored him with Padmashree in 1988 and Padma Bhushan in 2002 for his wonderful contribution to art and music. Let us tell you that he did not like to be called Ustad, he did not consider himself as a Ustad as his wife used to call him.
