According to Islam, three types of animals will get shelter in heaven.

- The calf which Prophet Ibrahim sacrificed for his guests will also go to heaven.
- The ram will also be given a place in heaven because it was because of it that Allah Almighty saved Ismail from death. May Allah bless him.
- Also entitled to go to Paradise is the Hoopoe (a bird) who gave information about Bilqis (Queen of Sheba).
- (Quran 27:18) It is said that O ants, go back to your home or else Suleiman and his soldiers may trample you. Therefore, even the ants will get shelter in heaven.
