WhatsApp keeps bringing new features to improve the experience of its users. In this series, the company is bringing 2 new features. In one feature, users will be able to create events in regular chat and in the other, users will be able to post photos in the poll option. Both the features will solve many problems for the users. Currently the company is working on these and it will be rolled out for the users in the upcoming updates.
You will be able to create events in regular chat
Till now WhatsApp was providing this facility in group chats and community groups. Now it is being included in regular chats also. After the arrival of the new feature, users will also see the option of event along with gallery, camera and location etc. After tapping on it, you will have to name the event and choose its date. If the user wishes, he can also provide other information. The end time of the event can also be written in this feature. So that the users in front can know for how long the event will last.
Currently work on this feature is going on and first it will be released for beta users. After this, based on the feedback received, the company will make necessary changes in it and gradually roll it out for all the users.
Option to put photo in poll will be available
Along with events in regular chat, WhatsApp is working on the feature of adding photos in polls. After the launch of this feature, channel owners will get the option to attach a photo with every poll option. Voters in each poll will have a visual representation of each poll option. This will give them an opportunity to easily understand the options before voting. This can be more effective in situations where it is difficult to explain something through text alone. This will especially ease many problems for channels based on topics like design, travel and food etc.
