During Pitru Paksha, do not perform any auspicious work like Mundan, Griha Pravesh or marriage, otherwise you may have to suffer loss.
Do not buy a new vehicle, a new house or new clothes during Pitru Paksha. This makes the ancestors angry.
Do not buy broom, salt, mustard oil, sesame seeds during Pitru Paksha. Doing so affects the person with Tridosha. Doing these things leads to inauspicious results.
