The company had filed a curative petition against the 2019 decision of the court in July and sought an early hearing of the case from the Supreme Court. Vodafone Idea told the court in its petition, the company is facing financial crisis and its existence has been questioned. Clear error in AGR demand is not being corrected by an order of the court. Along with penalty on the outstanding amount, penalty has also been imposed on interest, which is not fair.
