This is the first time in the history of Test cricket that New Zealand has made a clean sweep of India in a Test series at its own home. In this series, captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli could not even score a total of 100 runs in 6 innings. It has also been noteworthy that after the year 2020, Kohli has been seen getting stuck against spin bowling. In the last five years, Kohli has been out 57 times in Test matches, out of which he has lost his wicket 24 times against spinners. Even in 6 innings against New Zealand, Virat Kohli was dismissed by a bowler on five occasions and he was run out once. On four out of these five occasions, Virat had lost his wicket against the spin bowler.
