Were Virat and Gambhir ever ready to fight?
Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have a long history of fighting. The first argument between them happened in IPL 2013. At that time, during the RCB vs KKR match, Virat and Gambhir had an argument, both of them even pushed each other, but other players intervened and stopped the fight from escalating. After that, a similar incident happened in 2016. Virat Kohli had reached the non-striking end after completing his run. Still, Gambhir showed aggressive attitude and threw the ball at the non-striking end, where Virat Kohli was standing.
Their recent argument happened during the Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore match in 2023. First, Naveen Ul Haq had an argument with Kohli on the field. After the match, when Kyle Myers came to talk to Kohli, then LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir pulled Myers’ hand and took him away from Kohli.
