Now after Kambli’s video went viral, 1983 World Cup winning Indian captain Kapil Dev and bowler Balwinder Singh have asked to extend a helping hand. Before helping Kambli, he was told that he would have to help himself first.
The report quoted Balwinder Singh as saying, “Kapil (Dev) has clearly told me that if he wants to go for rehab, we are ready to help him financially. However, he has to check the rehab himself first.” Will happen. If he does so, we are ready to pay the bill, no matter how long the treatment lasts.”
