Harish Salve recently spoke to Times Now and reacted on the issue of Vinesh’s medal in Paris Olympics. He said, “First of all you should talk to PT Usha. We fought a lot for her. We also said that let’s take the matter to the Swiss court. But they refused. As far as the government’s interference is concerned, the Indian government had no role in it.”
Vinesh Phogat was disqualified just before the gold medal match due to being overweight. After this, she went to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) for the silver medal. Here her appeal was rejected. After this case of Vinesh, PT Usha went to meet her.

PT Usha clicked a photo of her without asking and posted it on social media. Vinesh also alleged that PT Usha did not even talk to her.
