Rajasthan Royals Appointed Rajasthan Royals Batting Coach: IPL team Rajasthan Royals appointed Rahul Dravid as the new head coach a few days ago. Now the RR franchise has roped in Vikram Rathod as batting coach. Vikram has been the former batting coach of the Indian cricket team, but his tenure ended after the T20 World Cup 2024. He will now be seen working with Rahul Dravid in Rajasthan Royals.
Let us tell you that the pair of Rahul Dravid and Vikram Rathod had made a significant contribution to Team India in winning the final of the 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup and the T20 World Cup 2024. Their jugalbandi will now embark on the journey to make Rajasthan Royals the champion.
Vikram Rathod expressed his happiness on being selected as the batting coach and said, “It is an honor to be a part of the Rajasthan Royals family. I am very excited to work with Rahul Dravid again and also to coach young cricketers this time. I am committed to contributing to the progress of the team, bringing out top talent for Rajasthan and India, who will help us win championships.”
Vikram Rathore’s contribution to Team India
Vikram Rathod joined the Indian National Cricket Team as a batting coach in the year 2019. Before his tenure ends in 2024, he helped Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul achieve success and touch new heights.
On the other hand, on Vikram Rathod’s entry into Rajasthan Royals, Rahul Dravid also said that experience, skill, patient nature and good understanding of Indian cricket make Vikram a profitable deal for the Rajasthan Royals team. Dravid also expressed happiness on reuniting with Vikram.
