Venkatesh Iyer was a part of the Kolkata team till IPL 2024. However, the franchise had released this player before the auction. Now once again Kolkata has included Venkatesh Iyer in its team. This time KKR has bought Venkatesh Iyer for Rs 23.75 crore.
Rachin Ravindra sold for Rs 4 crore
There were many players who did not get the money as expected. New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 4 crore. Leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was also bought for Rs 18 crore. England’s Jos Buttler was bought by Gujarat Titans. He got Rs 15.75 crore. Butler’s base price was Rs 2 crore.
