According to the survey of Local Circles, one out of every two households in India may make purchases worth Rs 10,000 during various festivals this time. This survey also specifically states that this time buyers will turn to markets more than online shopping and may prefer to shop from shops. For this, a total of 49,000 households were asked questions in the survey and efforts were made to find out what pattern they will follow in shopping during festivals this year.

This survey was conducted in the urban districts of 342 different cities of India.
44% of the people from tier 1 cities and 34% of the people from tier 2 cities who participated in the survey said that they are excited to shop during this festive season. Those who answered the questions in tier 3, 4, 5 urban districts also gave more or less similar indications and said that there will be a lot of fun this year. One in every 2 households also said that they will spend more money on shopping this year and are ready to spend Rs 10,000.
